I live in Stamford-Norwalk, CT and have been to New Haven, CT several times. Danbury is also very nearby and would assume it's not much different.
They are boring. If you like to get drunk every other weeknight or weekend as something to do, I guess it's okay.
Maybe it's just that I want a big city. I just recently found people to play board games with, and it's not even the same. Le sigh.
