Socks schmocks.

Yesterday, I buckled down and did some laundry. Thankfully I am at that point where I needed to do laundry because my laundry basket was overflowing and not because I was particularly out of clothes. However, I was moving onto my second wave boxers, so I figured it was not a bad thing. I did some laundry, had one load come out with a few things still a bit moist after going through two full dryer cycles, and called it a day for laundry.

This morning at 8:05 am, 5 min before I have to leave to be at my class in time to get my name checked off on the attendence sheet, I open my drawer which normally is stuffed and overflowing with cotton undergarments. There are 2. 2 Pairs of boxers. Now, I did remove my second wave (I have about 6 or so that don't fit in the drawer and I don't like them) so I have a total of 8. But that 2 is all my clean boxers. There are pairs I know I own that are not there. I just received 2 new pairs over break in fact. I have pairs that have been with me for a long time. This is a sad day. But I had to leave in 5 min, so I move on.

I return home and walk down to the laundry room. Lo and behold! A pile of clothes I had left in the dryer. I bring them up, fold them, and ... 2 more pairs of boxers. OMFG. Where did all my boxers go? This is insane. I seem to remember having at least some more when I sorted my laundry. I might have left some at home but isn't it odd that all other clothes are stuffed in their drawers and nicely accounted for and almost all of my boxers have vanished?

Yes, yes it is odd. This took too long. Back to homework.
